This policy explains how information is handled when you use the Mistake Detective iOS app.
Information stored on your device
Mistake Detective stores puzzle progress, daily puzzle credits, and reward state locally on your device. This information is used to provide App functionality and is not uploaded to our own servers. You can remove it by deleting the App.
Advertising and consent
The App uses Google Mobile Ads to provide optional standard rewarded advertisements and Google's User Messaging Platform to request and manage privacy choices where required. An advertisement request begins only after you tap "Add 10 Puzzles Today," review the disclosure, and choose "Watch Now." The App does not request a rewarded advertisement at launch.
Depending on your region, consent choices, device settings, and the advertisement served, Google Mobile Ads may process information such as:
- IP address and approximate location derived from it;
- device or app identifiers;
- advertising data and advertisement interactions;
- product interactions;
- performance, crash, and diagnostic information.
This information may be used for third-party advertising, the developer's advertising or marketing, analytics, fraud prevention, and app or advertising functionality. Google may link certain information to a device or user and may use a device identifier for tracking where permitted by consent and platform settings.
Your privacy choices
Where required, the App displays a Google privacy message before requesting advertisements. When Google requires a privacy-options entry point, the App provides a control that lets you review or change those choices. You may select "Not Now" and continue using free daily puzzle credits without requesting an advertisement.

Data sale and user accounts
We do not operate a user-account system for Mistake Detective, and we do not sell personal information. Third-party advertising processing is described above and in Google's policies.
Children's privacy
Mistake Detective is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through our own servers.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when App features, third-party services, or legal requirements change. The latest version will remain available on this page with its effective date.
