Privacy Policy

This policy explains how information is handled when you use the PicSlim iOS app. PicSlim is provided by the developer identified on its App Store product page.
Photos and local processing
PicSlim uses Apple's system photo picker so that you can choose the photos you want to compress. Compression is performed on your device. The app requests permission to add compressed results to your photo library only when you choose to save them.
We do not operate a server that receives or stores your selected photos or compressed results. Temporary files created for compression, preview, saving, or sharing remain on your device and are managed by the app and iOS.
Information stored on your device
PicSlim stores compression preferences, daily free-photo credits, additional credits earned from rewarded advertisements, and reward-processing state locally on your device. This information is used to provide app functionality. You can remove it by deleting the app.
Advertising and consent
PicSlim uses Google Mobile Ads to provide optional standard rewarded advertisements and Google's User Messaging Platform to request and manage privacy choices where required.
The app may update Google consent information when it launches. It does not request or load a rewarded advertisement at launch. An advertisement request begins only after you tap the Add 10 button, review the Advertisement confirmation, and choose Watch Now. Choosing Not Now does not request an advertisement and does not prevent use of available free credits.
After you complete an eligible rewarded advertisement, Google sends a reward callback to the app. PicSlim then adds 10 photo credits for the current day.
Information processed by Google services
Depending on your region, privacy choices, device settings, and the advertisement served, Google Mobile Ads and the User Messaging Platform may process information such as:
- IP address and approximate location derived from it;
- device or app identifiers;
- advertising data and advertisement interactions;
- product interactions;
- performance, crash, and diagnostic information.
This information may be used for third-party advertising, the developer's advertising or marketing, analytics, fraud prevention, app functionality, or advertising functionality. Google may link certain information to a device or user and may use a device identifier for tracking where permitted by your consent choices and platform settings.
Your privacy choices
Where required, PicSlim displays a Google privacy message before requesting advertisements. When Google requires a privacy-options entry point, the app provides a control that lets you review or change those choices.
You can decline an advertisement by choosing Not Now. You can continue using PicSlim with any available free or previously earned photo credits.

Accounts, sales, and sharing
PicSlim does not require an account or login. We do not sell personal information and do not share your selected photos or compressed results with our own servers. Advertising-related processing by Google is described above and in Google's policies.
Children's privacy
PicSlim is a general photo utility and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through our own servers.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when app features, third-party services, or legal requirements change. The latest version will remain available on this page with its effective date.
